'I am Yorkshire born and bred and I am passionate about sculpture. My studio is in the Dean Clough complex, Halifax. Being near the Yorkshire Sculpture Park has meant I have the opportunity to see world class sculpture on a regular basis. However two particular sculptors stand out for me. Bernard Takawira for his method and principles of working. Eduardo Chillida whose work for me is indescribable perfection'.
