I am interested in the role of animals in society as regards their relationship with humans and the hierarchy they are afforded. The semantics of this also dominate how people regard each other and has somewhat of a basis in religion from the ancient Mayan and Egyptian cultures up to modern day Christianity. The sculptures 1 am presenting here are based on the story of Noah's Ark.

2X2 depicts the animals on their way to board the ark. However, the two of each species are morphed together to create one, representing the science verses religion debate, genetic modification and vivisection in the name of scientific progress.
