Statement I live in the pennines and my sculpture is influenced by the land that I can see, when the clouds lift The synergy between natural forces and our occupation and use of the landscape produces an environment rich in historical markers and a sense of continuity that is both fragile and also unchanging. The sculpture 'more rain' was sandcast between thunderstorms in my back garden. It was neccessary to make and cast it quickly due to the weather conditions and despite it's casting flaws I am fond of it because it is about the day and also a product of the day.
