The idea came from 'Lithops' cactus. - flowering stones. Made from copper sheet, a chalk pebble and beads.
1. Stoneflower If you plant seeds too close together thee seedlings bolt and produce premature flowers. Made of copper lightning conductor tape, slit and twisted with beads and marbles.
2. Lightning Shoots The inspiration was the lead rose from an ancient water tank. The wires threaded through the spray holes are supposed to be loose so that the beads on the ends catch the light. An exotic flower head.

This oak beam was possibly first worked by man a couple of hundred years ago, and carries with it a long history of it's own. My input has been minimal, merely being to reveal it's strength and beauty and to re-present it as a bridge between a past era and this one, as well as an echo of a real bridge such as stands nearby over the lilypond. 1. Walking on Water Some six or seven months ago a rather aggressive little image became an ingredient in work about both places and people. The advent of a garden site easily added the fly eating plant.
